JUSTIN MARINER / LEGAL
Cookie
Policy.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies may be used when you visit justinmariner.com. Justin Mariner aims to keep the guide simple: the trip planner, mobile navigation, room details, restaurant tabs and photo gallery work with ordinary browser JavaScript and do not require an account or advertising profile.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies can remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure use or support security. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and device identifiers.
2. Cookies used by Justin Mariner
The current website code does not set advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, marketing tags, or a Justin Mariner login cookie. The trip planner does not store the dates or guest count in local storage or session storage. If you close or refresh the page, the planner may return to its default browser-calculated dates.
Essential technical cookies or similar mechanisms may be set by the hosting, CDN or security provider rather than by Justin Mariner page code. These mechanisms can help route traffic, reduce abuse, maintain service availability, detect automated attacks and deliver the correct files. They are not used by Justin Mariner to build a marketing profile.
3. External links
When you follow a link to The Star Gold Coast, a map provider, Gambling Help QLD, or another external site, that provider may use cookies and similar technologies. Their practices are controlled by their own documents, not this policy. You should review the external provider’s cookie and privacy notices before continuing.
4. Analytics
The site does not require a third-party analytics script to display the guide. If site analytics are enabled by the hosting platform in the future, they should be configured with data minimisation, no sale of personal information, and appropriate consent or notice where required. This policy will be updated if the website begins using optional analytics cookies.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, block or restrict cookies in their privacy settings. You can usually choose to block third-party cookies, clear site data when you close the browser, or ask before a website stores a cookie. Blocking strictly necessary security or delivery mechanisms may affect whether the website loads correctly.
Browser controls do not necessarily remove information already held by an external provider. To opt out of an external website’s tracking or marketing, use that provider’s own privacy centre or opt-out controls.
6. Do Not Track and browser signals
Browsers may send privacy signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The legal effect of a signal depends on the applicable law and the service receiving it. Justin Mariner does not use browser signals to identify a person or make an advertising profile.
7. Updates
We may revise this page when technology, providers or legal requirements change. Check the “Last updated” date at the top of the page for the current version.
